Workshop on Fifty Years of BRST

This conference celebrated 50 years of the BRST formalism, originally formulated by Becchi, Rouet, Stora and Tyutin, which, building on the earlier work of Faddeev–Popov, revealed fundamental algebraic structures underlying gauge-fixing in quantum field theories and provided a unified framework for understanding the consistency and renormalizability of non-abelian gauge theories. The conference was held at the Arnold Sommerfeld Center of the University of Munich, March 23-27, 2026. The talks covered modern aspects of the BRST formalism in mathematical physics and mathematics.
