(10.11.) On superconformal anyons

Nima Doroud (SISSA)

10.11.2016 at 16:15

I will discuss recent progress in the physics of Anyons through the study of Chern-Simons-Matter theories at their non-relativistic (super)conformal fixed point. These theories describe two species of anyons, whose spins differ by 1/2, interacting in a harmonic trap. Exploiting the symmetries of the theory enables exact computation of part of the spectrum of interacting anyons in a harmonic trap. I will end the talk with a brief discussion on applications to 3d dualities
