Abstract:
I will cover several topics on Higher-spin theories, starting with the introduction and historical remarks. Then proceed to interaction vertices, which naturally leads to the notion of higher-spin symmetries as maximal symmetries. I will discuss the ways higher-spin symmetries appear in AdS and CFT's. Next, I will try to give an idea of the Vasiliev formulation of higher-spin theories. Lastly, I will review recent results on higher-spin theories and AdS/CFT, the status of Klebanov-Polyakov conjecture.
