(27.08.) New supersymmetric vacua on solvmanifolds

I will discuss supersymmetric flux vacua of type II supergravities on Minkowski times six-dimensional solvmanifolds, and present new examples. The latter have very special properties, and are the first ones both with localized sources and not T-dual to a vacuum on a torus. In addition, their solvmanifold turns out to be Calabi-Yau, with an explicit metric.
