Step By Step Through the Moduli Web

An exact description of D-brane moduli spaces from the worldsheet perspective is often only possible in the vicinity of certain points. In order to explore larger parts of it we study classes of BPS-branes on Calabi-Yau manifolds in the topological B-model which have unobstructed open string moduli. A close investigation of their spectra reveals the non-trivial global structure of their moduli spaces. Our approach allows us to use worldsheet methods in order to obtain potentials for supersymmetry breaking, and we confirm known geometric results.
