Chair for Astroparticle Physics and Cosmology
The group of Prof. Mukhanov on astroparticle physics and cosmology is a part of the TR33 - The Dark Universe. The Transregional Collaborative Research Centre TR33 is a joint network with the University of Heidelberg and the University of Bonn. In addition the group participates in the Excellence Cluster "Origin and Structure of the Universe".
Research
The chair of Prof. Mukhanov works in theoretical astroparticle physics and cosmology. Fields of research include inflationary cosmology and string theory. A detailed description of our research interests is given here. The group is composed of three professors and several research associates.
