Spontaneous partial supersymmetry breaking in supergravity

Paul Smyth (Hamburg U.)

22.10.2009 at 16:15

I will review the problem of spontaneous partial supersymmetry breaking in N=2 gauged supergravity. I will then discuss some current work which aims to determine the general conditions under which this supersymmetry breaking is possible, and also provides a new perspective on the older no-go theorem of Cecotti et al.
